Nur/Rec HH (Mrs Hall)

Welcome back to the Summer term, we hope you have had a lovely Easter. This term we begin our Growing and changing topic. The first part of the topic is “How Does Your Garden Grow?” which will include the children planting some beans to grow in our garden. We will focus on the story of Jack and the Beanstalk during this topic.

After the half term break we will be looking at how animals including humans grow and change under the topic theme “Whose baby?” This will include a visit to a farm to see some baby animals. In story time we will look at stories by Beatrix Potter.

Enrichments to the curriculum

To enrich your child’s experience within Treeton Foundation Stage we offer exciting opportunities to widen the curriculum. Some of these include:

  • Themed days
  • Festival celebrations including traditional food
  • Baking
  • Food tasting
  • Gardening
  • Story tellers

We notify you of these events and will ask for additional support with particular activities when they occur.

Please check out the regularly updated photos showing some of the exciting learning activities that happen in our class throughout the term. A yearly overview is also available on this section. More details and pictures will be added to the site as the term progresses so keep checking.

If you need to speak to me I am available for a chat at the end of each school day. If you have any exciting news or want to raise any concerns you may have please do not hesitate to speak to me. Alternatively, if you can not catch me after school please feel free to make an appointment to see me to discuss your child's learning.
