This is an overview of intended learning, however we review our planning continuously to ensure the learning is matched to the children’s needs. Each week the key focuses for Literacy and Numeracy will be displayed in the windows.

Homework – Spellings will be given out each Monday to be learnt for a test the following Monday. These will also be available on the homework section of this page.

Other homework will be given on a Thursday to be returned the following week. It is very important that pupils complete their homework as this demonstrates their understanding outside of the lesson.

Reading – Don’t forget that there is a certificate at the end of each half term for children who read 3 or more times a week.

P.E – Wednesday (indoor) and Friday (outdoor), although it would be useful for your child to have their PE kit available in school throughout the week.

Please can you ensure your child has shorts, red or white t-shirt and pumps or trainers (that fit!)

When the weather gets colder jogging bottoms and a track suit top is useful for outdoor P.E. A reminder that jewellery should NOT be worn for P.E. lessons.
