Drama Club

Drama Club runs every Tuesday after school from 3-4pm.  We have great fun playing drama games and learning new skills in acting, mime and improvisation as well as singing and dancing!  Drama Club is great for developing your skills in communication and expression as well as giving you lots of confidence!

This term Drama Club is open to Y5 and Y6 children. We will be learning lots of new drama skills through games and improvisation.  We will also be doing some script work in preparation for our  2018 summer production!

Drama Club also gives children the opportunity to take formal exams in acting known as LAMDA (London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art)  exams. This involves learning one or two scripts off by heart and performing them either as a solo or paired performer for an external examiner.  Well done to all 21 children in years 5 and 6 who took LAMDA acting exams in the Summer Term 2015.  I was so impressed with your commitment and hard work.  The results were amazing - 100% success including eleven merits and nine distinctions!  You should all be very proud of yourselves.  Depending on numbers we may be running these exams later this year.

If you would like to take part in Drama Club, please come and see me.
