We are looking forward to welcoming our new Reception and Nursery children into EYFS in September 2021. As a part of our admission process you will be sent a welcome pack which includes information about learning in the EYFS which you might find helpful. A copy of this booklet can be found at the bottom of the page. More information about learning in the EYFS is available by following the link to the curriculum page at the bottom of this page. The pack also contains a selection of forms which we ask that you complete and return to school by Friday 7th May. You can also access the forms on the website following the links. These can then be emailed to us at email@example.com.
Due to COVID restrictions, we have been unable to provide our usual transition programme. Therefore we have adapted the ways we communicate and share information with you, building on the successful transition of our new starters last year.
Once you have completed and returned the forms a member of the EYFS Team will contact you by phone. This will provide you with a chance to discuss learning in the EYFS and inform us of any concerns you may have around your child starting Reception. During this call we will invite you to attend a stay and play session in our fantastic outdoor setting. This will provide you with an opportunity to get a feel for the learning environment.
In addition, information about timings, daily routines, protocols and uniform will be sent out to all our Reception and Nursey children. this will include information with regards to induction and start dates. In the meantime, please feel free to contact the school office if you require any further information.
We thank you for your co-operation and understanding as we negotiate our way through these challenging times.

I have attached a letter with some additional information about the starting arrangements for Nursery children. I will also post some pictures of the entry and exit points and the drop off and collection points so that you can prepare yourself and your child for this.
Please contact the school office if you have any queries and they will either provide the information required or arrange for me to phone you.
