We believe that regular reading is the most important homework that children will do. We encourage daily reading (a minimum of 3 times a week) and children (or parents) are requested to complete the reading diary every time they read. Children who read 3 times a week or more every week over a half-term will receive a certificate of their achievements, then at the end of the year, if they keep it up, they will receive a prize!

Spellings will be given out each Friday to be learnt for a test the following Friday. A list of the spellings children should know by the end of Year 4 is located in your child's reading diary.

Other Homework

Other homework which may be maths or topic related will be given on a Friday to be returned the following Wednesday.

Please ask myself or Mrs Mitchell if you require any additional information or support,

Mrs Knowles.
