As you will have heard in the news school will close from Friday. Some learning packs have been prepared for the children and we will be sending home some reading books today. The packs include pencils and exercise books, which you can use to record your children's learning.
I will post learning challenges on here and on DoJo for you to access at home with your child. We will also be sending letters out with some websites details and logins which you can access from home.
Please upload pictures or videos of what you have been doing on the portfolio section on class DoJo or as a message to me so we can see what you are getting up to.
Some children are already self-isolating so there is already a challenge to get you started. This will also be sent in home learning books today in the usual way.
Thank you for your support
Welcome to our class page. I hope you have all had a lovely Christmas break and have had lots of rest and are ready for a an exciting term at Treeton School.
This term our topic for the first three weeks will be 'Heroes and Villains - Who's afraid of the Big Bad Wolf' , followed by 'Real Life Heroes' which will include a Educational visit to 'National Emergency Services Museum'. As part of our 'Heroes and Villains' topic we will be inviting to bring in things from home, giving them opportunities to share things with the class.
Enrichments to the curriculum
To enrich your child’s experience within Treeton Foundation Stage we offer exciting opportunities to widen the curriculum. Some of these include:
Throughout the year if your child has any books or resources from home related to any of our topics, I welcome them to bring them into school and share them with us. If you have any problems or queries my door is always open and I am available before school each morning as well as after school each day, so feel free to come and speak to me.
Also please look out for details of events on the website, in the newsletter and through class Dojo messages.
