Coronavirus update

As you will have heard in the news school will close from Friday. Some learning packs have been prepared for the children and we will be sending home some reading books today. The packs include pencils and exercise books, which you can use to record your children's learning.

I will post learning challenges on here and on DoJo for you to access at home with your child. We will also be sending letters out with some websites details and logins which you can access from home.

Please upload pictures or videos of what you have been doing on the portfolio section on class DoJo or as a message to me so we can see what you are getting up to.

Some children are already self-isolating so there is already a challenge to get you started. This will also be sent in home learning books today in the usual way.

Thank you for your support

Welcome to our class page. I hope you have all had a wonderful Christmas break. Hopefully the children have  had plenty of rest and are ready for an exciting term at Treeton C of E.

This term our topic for the first few weeks will be 'Heroes and Villains - Who's afraid of the Big Bad Wolf' , followed by 'Real Life Heroes' which will include a Educational visit to 'National Emergency Services Museum'.  As part of our 'Heroes and Villains' topic we will be inviting the children to bring in things from home, giving them opportunities to share things with the class.

To enrich learning at Treeton C of E Primary we offer exciting opportunities to enrich the curriculum. These include visits, themed days, baking, food tasting, Festival celebrations, gardening, Forest Fridays and story tellers.

If your child would like to bring in any books or resources linked to our learning they are more than welcome to do so.

I will update you on our learning in a number of ways such as this class page, newsletters, home learning and through the use of Class Dojo.

If you would like to speak to me about your child or any concerns you may have I am available before and after school everyday. If this is not convenient please let me know and I will meet with you at a different time. It is important that you let me know of any changes at home so that we can support your child and family if needed.

Thank you,

Miss Wilde
