Welcome back. We hope you are ready for our final term of Year 1.
Our focus for the Summer term is 'By the Seaside'. In History we will be comparing 2 historical events - The Titanic and Grace Darling's rescue. We will be focusing on recalling historical enquiry by investigating, interpreting and comparing these events.
In Art we will explore the work work of Claude Monet and use water colours to create our own coastal scenes. We will also be learning about animals including humans as part of our science curriculum. This includes identifying different types of animals, what they eat and how they survive. In RE we will be learning Creation and 'who made the world'.
