This week we will be looking at poetry and the different language techniques included in this style of writing. These include the use of alliteration, similes, metaphors, personification and onomatopoeia.
Adjective, adjective, noun, verb, adverb or adverb, verb, ending (can be simile, place, feeling etc.)
For example, Swollen, scarlet heart thumping aggressively like the proud leader of the percussion procession.

Today your writing task is to complete and edit a list poem.

In my amazing body,
I have two hundred and six vital bones functioning simultaneously to keep me moving.
I have a thumping heart working tirelessly to circulate burgundy blood through my veins.
I have a rumbling stomach which roars as loud as a furious lion chasing its prey.
