_{This academic year, the KS2 School Council chose to support their local community.  They were busy devising action plans to achieve the goal of fundraising for Treeton Grange nursing home.}

_{They generated lots of ideas, and then voted on one that would ensure they would be able to produce enough funds to support the development of the Treeton Grange outdoor area.}

Fundraiser for Treeton Grange Nursing Home - Monday 18th July.

This fundraiser has been driven by the KS2 School Council, who voted last term, to raise money to benefit our local community. Treeton Grange was chosen to receive the funds raised, and they will use the money to help support the development of their outside area in the form of plants and planters for their patio.

In order to raise funds, the school councillors decided that they would like to sell fruit/veg pots to all children. These are now available to order on Parent Pay from today until Friday 15th July. The KS2 School Council are asking for a minimum donation of £1.00 per fruit/veg pot. Please note parents will only be able to order one pot per child.

Some of our KS2 School Council members have conducted some market research to establish the children's favourite healthy snacks and the following snack pots will be available to order:

1. Munchy Melon - water melon and honey dew
2. Orange Delight - satsuma pieces and grape
3. British Favourites -banana, apple and grape
4. Victorious Veg - cucumber and carrot

Remember you can of course give more than the minimum donation of £1.00
