Today, there will be a variety of SAT revision type activities for children to complete. The activities will not require you to print them.

The first one ‘The Snow Queen’, which is attached, is a short reading comprehension that should take no more than twenty minutes to complete.

There is a short maths revision booklet which covers topics taught in the Autumn term. It provides children with the opportunity to revisit these core areas, and answers are attached so that children can check their work.

For writing, children are to describe their snow day. They should use lots of description and as many different forms of punctuation as they can.

I have provided a prompt sheet for guidance on what to write.

For SPAG, I have attached a spelling activity. Children have to correct the incorrect spelling in each sentence. Children should complete sheet 4, but they can of course complete more if they want to.

Lastly, we understand that snow is magical and a snowy day is a time where memories are made, so please take every opportunity to have fun! You might like to make a snowman, go for a snowy walk, snuggle up and read stories, or create a snowy picture.  We would love to see what you get up today and encourage you to feel free to upload photos into your Dojo portfolio so we can see all the fun you get up to.
