Literacy -
For the last couple of weeks in our Literacy lessons the children have been reading and familiarising themselves with the Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs story. Last week the children planned their own narrative using the story as a template for their own. Wednesday to Friday the children started writing their opening and build up from their plan. Next week we are going to carry on this piece of writing. The daily break down is listed below:
Monday - To write the problem to the story. How the weather/food goes wrong. Describe how it gets worse.
Tuesday - To write the solution to the story. What do the people decide to do?
Wednesday - To write the ending to the story.
Thursday - To edit and improve their writing. Look back at their story and using a green pen to make any corrections or improvements.
