Homework

Homework

 

We value support for reading as our main homework focus. In addition, your child will also be given an open ended homework challenge to complete, based on their learning from the week. Homework is given out on a Friday and must be returned by the following Wednesday. We look forward to seeing the work you do at home.

 

Spellings

 

Spellings are given out on Friday to be learnt for a test the following Friday.

The children will be given a 'Look, Cover, Spell, Check' sheet to complete - this needs to be handed in by Wednesday morning at the latest.

 

Homework is an important way of assessing the pupils' understanding of what is being learnt.
