Potted Sports Day 2021-22
Our competitive sports day takes place annually and it is always a huge success. The sports day is split for Reception and KS1 who compete in the morning and then in the afternoon we hold the KS2 Potted Sports Day. The children are put into mixed year group teams and the teams are numbered (1 - 10). The children then compete on a carousel of activities alongside their team trying to earn as many points as possible. There are 10 activity stations altogether including a drinks break station.
The activities are: speed bounce, relay race, egg and spoon race, hurdles, tunnel ball, penalty shots, seated throw, corner spry, bean bag relay and a drinks station.
This year we were able to welcome parents/carers who were able to cheer on the children and get involved in the activities wherever possible. Each child received a participation certificate for taking part and the top three teams were presented at the end.
