Treeton C of E Primary School Football World Cup Tournament
All of LKS2 (years 3&4) were invited to take part in our World Cup style tournament. The children were split up into five teams who each represented a different country. The children played competitive matches against the four other teams for an opportunity to win the golden trophy for winning the league. For a win the team would received 3 points, a draw was 2 points and a loss equalled 1 point.
Throughout the tournament, the adults involved looked out for standout children who were demonstrating our core vision and values. Two further awards were given out to each. The first medal was called 'team player' and was given out to a member of each team who stood out as supporting others, showing respect and encouraging others. The second medal was called 'most determined' and was given out to a player from each team who tried their best throughout the whole tournament.
A huge well done to all of the children for thoroughly letting their lights shine!
