Literacy 

This week, in literacy, we are continuing to look at newspaper reports. 

Your literacy tasks this week are as follows: 

• Read through the PowerPoint and complete the task on direct and indirect speech. You should be able to complete the 2 star or 3 star level. 
• Read through the PowerPoint and complete the task on perfect tense. You should be able to complete the 2 star or 3 star level. 
• Use the template to plan your newspaper report on the moon landing. if you need to research this event there are lots of websites out there to do this.
• Write your newspaper report. Make sure you are using all of the features that should be included (see PowerPoint) and editing as you write.

Don't forget to make sure you are reading every day and writing in your reading journal as well. 

French

This half term the students are looking at the topic 'Do you have a pet?' (unit 6) under the 'Intermediate' heading. This week we are on lesson 1.
